Prepare to be enchanted by the vibrant colors, rhythmic movements, and rich storytelling of Ballet Folklorico Tayahua! A proud partner of the Dandelion Art Coalition Unite, this talented dance troupe brings the beauty of traditional Mexican folk dance to life with stunning costumes, graceful choreography, and infectious energy.
Their performance is more than entertainment — it’s a celebration of cultural heritage, diversity, and inclusion within Zion. This special presentation pairs beautifully with the Mariachi Estrellas De Waukegan performance, offering a unified and moving tribute to the traditions that inspire and connect our community.
🌼 Stay and enjoy an entire day of live cultural showcases, interactive art workshops, pollinator education, artisan vendors, delicious food, and family-friendly fun — a full celebration of creativity, culture, and community.
💛 Free and open to the public — don’t miss Ballet Folklorico Tayahua and an unforgettable Sunday of music, dance, and connection!
We’re a non-profit organization that’s been serving Lake County for over 10 years and are proudly based out of Waukegan. Interested in learning more? The first class is free!
